Are you using "tracer_ic_method=1" to read the tracer files? There is no minimum number of lines allowed in the tracer files. However, if you didn't turn off composition<br>
"chemical_buoyancy=off", citcoms will complain if too few tracers are provided.<br>

If this is not your problem, can you check the error message in *.log or *.tracer_long.* files and post the error message here?<br>

I am trying to replicate the model by Manea and Gurnis , 2007 paper using tracers . However I am not getting the tracer files correct to run with it . What is the minimum number of lines needed to make the tracer file work ?<br>
