It was a small workshop, as the goal was to have a hands on meeting with
ample time spent in the code. The workshop provided an opportunity for members of the CIG Computational Science Working Group to meet with CIG staff and several
members of the Mantle Convection community to address specific avenues
for furthering the solver capabilities of several CIG community codes,
with a focus on CitcomCU and CitcomS in particular.

Attached is a PDF of the workshop report, which can also be found online through the Computational Science Working Group page (http://www.geodynamics.org/cig/community/workinggroups/cs).

Following from the workshop, online meetings are being held every fortnight to assess/discuss progress on the code implementations. Participation is very much welcome.
