It seems the numpy version fetched by the installer is not up-to-date for the intel computers.</div><div>One needs a patch to specify the cpu's type: <a href="http://projects.scipy.org/numpy/attachment/ticket/2039/darwin_x86_64.patch">http://projects.scipy.org/numpy/attachment/ticket/2039/darwin_x86_64.patch</a></div><div>I added it to my version, and it seems to compile correctly.
