This short, 2 hour crash course will introduce you the scientific Python ecosystem. We will quickly go over Python's syntax and you will learn how to write loops, import other modules, and write your own functions. Afterwards we will demonstrate the basics of Python's scientific stack consisting of NumPy, SciPy, and matplotlib. Everything is shown in an interactive tutorial including exercises for the participants. It is assumed that you have some programming experience in any language.
Participation is first come first serve. We expect to have a capacity for approximately 40 people.
