2020 SPECFEM Developers Meeting

Workshop Purpose

The SPECFEM Developers Meeting will bring together developers and users of the SPECFEM family of codes over three days to discuss the state of the codes and their future direction.  The workshop will give an overview of the state of the science and recent code advances.  We anticipate most of the workshop to be spent in discussions on best practices, establishing a code development plan, and code sustainability as well as in small group coding sessions focusing on improvements to the user manual and example suites.

Participants will be notified beginning in June 2020

Registration

All participants must apply to attend. Registration does not guarantee your attendance.

Attendance is limited to 45 attendees.  

Travel Support

Limited travel support will be available. We recommend that participants book their air travel early. Travelers MUST use a US carrier, comply with Open Skies, and/or provide code share information.

Venue

The meetings will be held on the campus of the University of Toronto, St. George Campus.
