Description: | The 2024 Crustal Deformation Modeling Workshop will focus on computational models addressing crustal deformation in the following areas:
The workshop will be held June 10-14, 2024, at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. The weeklong workshop will include 2 days of tutorials for users of the computational modeling software PyLith - an open-source, community code for modeling crustal deformation with a focus on earthquake faulting, followed by 3 days of science talks, discussions, and informal tutorials and collaboration. We recognize some participants will want to attend only the science portion of the workshop. We expect participants in the tutorials to attend all 5 days. Dates: June 10-14, 2024 Application Opens: April 1. WAITLIST Please read through all event details before applying via eventbright. All participants are expected to abide by the CIG Code of Conduct.
