[aspect-devel] inconsistency in use of x, y, and z

Well, for the geometry model we could think about calling the extent of
the box by meaning instead of dimension (like length, width and depth,
or even x,y,depth). Then this section could remain unchanged in
different dimensions, but it would not longer be clear, which dimension
is interpreted as depth (or length, width) unless we state it clearly
somewhere. And for the function plugins one would still need to change
the input file (if only by inserting a 'width' in the middle of the 'set
Variable names = length, depth' line).
