[aspect-devel] Aspect-devel Digest, Vol 55, Issue 21

Hi Lev,

I have never worked with particles to visualize compositional properties but I ran the cookbook composition-passive-tracers.prm in order to test the visualization of these properties in Paraview. After loading the solution data and applying the data, I then loaded the particle data and applied the data as well. However, as you have indicated, the particles are not visible since the solution is overlaid on top. By choosing particles.pvd in the pipeline browser and setting the opacity to 0.99 as opposed to 1 in the properties tab pulled up the particles on top of the solution. Keeping the particles.pvd file chosen in the pipeline browser, coloring by initial C_0 applied the color map as expected. Can you quickly run the cookbook/composition-passive-tracers.prm and verify whether you get similar results?

Thanks,
-Harsha
