[aspect-devel] Onset of convection, time step choice

Timo,
I thought about this and it might be undesirable for some problems that do not have any thermo mechanical coupling or for which there is no energy equation at all. For convection problems though I cannot think of a reason not to enable this by default if there is not a significant performance penalty.
