[CIG-ALL] Request for Nominations for CIG oversight committees

Dear Earth Scientist,
 
 
We are writing seeking nominations for the committees that oversee the
Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics (CIG). Our nominating committee
has been charged with finding candidates to fill upcoming openings on the
CIG Science Steering and Executive Committees.  A detailed description of
the duties of the EC and the SSC can be found in the CIG by-laws

In October, Marc Spiegelman¹s term will end on the EC, and in June, Marc
Parmentier¹s and Roger Buck¹s terms will end on the SSC. Each is still
eligible for reelection.
 
To this end, the nominating committee is requesting community input in order
to put forth a slate of candidates that balance expertise in both Earth
Sciences and Computational Science.
