Attached you will find this quarter’s CIG Quarterly Newsletter for May 2015.  As we all are preparing for summer, I would like to draw your attention to a few significant activities of interest to the community:

Survey on Software Citation. Please take a few minute to complete the survey on current software citation practices and needs for the geosciences community. The survey should take about 20 minutes and will help inform the SAGA team towards developing methods and tools for our community.

Webinar on Big Data. This month’s webinar features Arben Pitarka, Douglas Dodge, Steven Magana-Zook, & Stanley Ruppert and will focus on Big Data.
