Workshop Info
The 2016 IRIS Workshop theme is ‘Emerging Fields and Technologies in Seismology’, and will take place June 8-10 in Vancouver, WA. All Plenary Sessions and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) Meetings are finalized and have been placed on the Workshop page under the ‘Info’ tab.

Registration & Hotel deadlines approaching  
Hotel registration deadline is Friday, May 13th, and Workshop registration closes Friday, May 27th.  Visit the Workshop website and reserve your spot today!  A reminder that all participants—including supported participants—must make their own hotel and flight reservations upfront and then submit for reimbursement later.  The only exception to this rule is for students who have received a scholarship.  IRIS will be booking and assigning shared rooms for those students.

Field Trips
The field trip to Mt St Helens has reached capacity and is now fully booked.  We are actively working to add additional vehicles in the hopes of allowing more people to participate in the field trip. If you are still interested in going and would like to be put on a wait list, please visit the workshop webpage and click on the ‘Field Trip’ tab to sign up. If and when a spot becomes available, you will be contacted and asked to make payment.

Can’t make it for the field trip? Consider taking a free tour of the operational facilities of the Loowit Brewing Company (directly across the street from the conference hotel) at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, June 7
