The Division of Earth Sciences is seeking qualified candidates for a program director in the Geophysics program. The Geophysics program supports basic research in the physics of the solid earth to explore its composition, structure, and processes using laboratory, field/observational, theoretical, and computational studies. Duties include administering the peer review process and helping to identify and support emerging trends in the science.

This position is a temporary appointment of 1 to 3 years, and would be located at the NSF’s Alexandria, VA headquarters. If you have any questions please contact one of the program directors listed below. If you know anyone who may be interested in this position, please forward this message.
