The Earth system functions and connects in unexpected ways. Efforts are needed to advance the study of Earth sciences research not only for fundamental understanding, but to meet societal needs. A new report from the National Academies, A Vision for NSF Earth Sciences 2020-2030: Earth in Time highlights new initiatives, infrastructure, and partnerships needed to answer priority research questions in the next decade.

Join us on Tuesday, May 19th from 2-3pm EDT as we discuss the report and provide an overview of the recommendations to the National Science Foundation’s Division of Earth Sciences.
