Log:
made "-mcmodel=medium -shared-intel" optional for Intel ifort, since some releases of Intel ifort v12 create codes that are not correct when this option is used (that problem comes from the compiler, not from our code; it has been fixed in Intel ifort v13, and some releases of v12 are also OK)
