Postdoctoral Position Available in Mantle Dynamics

Highly motivated postdoctoral candidates in the field of mantle dynamics are encouraged to apply for a postdoctoral position at the Department of Geology and Geophysics of Yale University. The successful candidate will do research regarding global mantle dynamics in the framework of planetary evolution. Solid implementation skills in scientific computing are required. Applicants should email a curriculum vita, a list of publications, and the statement of research interest to Professor Jun Korenaga (jun.korenaga at yale.edu <mailto:jun.korenaga at yale.edu>). Applicants should also arrange for three reference letters to be sent directly to the same email address. Applications are due on March 15, 2016. The position will be available beginning in July 2016, but the start date is negotiable. The initial appointment is for one year, and the position may be extended for a second year depending on research progress.
