[CIG-LONG] Long-term tectonics summary for CIG Science Steering Committee

Dear Colleagues:

The CIG Science Steering Committee will be meeting at the end of next  
week and I have been asked to give an overview of CIG-long-term  
tectonics activities. I would appreciate your input in preparation for  
the meeting.

Please send me a brief overview of any work you have done or attempted  
in connection to CIG-long-term-tectonics.
I would also appreciate your views on CIG priorities for the next  
year, and on priorities in the proposed CIG-II. You may wish to take a  
look at the current science plan (http://geodynamics.org/cig/proposalsndocs/documents/2007cigplan/ 
)

and at the draft vision for CIG-II (http://geodynamics.org/cig/proposalsndocs/documents/cig2/ 
).
