There is a simple fix.  Add

      <param name="Inflow">True</param>

in the PCDVC struct.  I am attaching a new version.  While the
previous version stopped after 2 steps, this one ran 30 steps to
completion.  I am still undecided as to whether to make this the
default in the new version.
