[CIG-LONG] tracking sedimentary layers during deformation

Considering the particle tracer attached is an example where it crashes.

The particle tracers are located on the top surface at each node of the lattice.

The infos are:

WeightsCalculator_CalculateAll(): finished update of weights for swarm
"picIntegrationPoints"
Error - in _GlobalParticleLayout_InitialiseParticles() - for
GlobalParticleLayout "passiveTracerLayout", of type
ManualParticleLayout: after initialising particles, actual global
count of particles initialised was 43, whereas requested global total
totalInitialParticles was 70. If actual is < requested, it means some
particles were not identified by any processor as inside their domain.
If actual > requested, it means that some particles were identified by
_multiple_ processors as belonging to their domain. Both these states
are erroneous.
Assertion failed: (expression), function Journal_Firewall, file
build/StGermain/Base/IO/src/Journal.c, line 603.
Abort trap

Does it means that I cannot define the tracers on the borders of the
simulated domain?

Cheers

Tristan

It looks like it needs a input file of vertices. Could you send a
sample input file?
