[CIG-LONG] Brittle and Ductile deformation

Hello Tatriq,

Could you send both the input file and the Gale error output from when your brittle extension model crashes?  Based on  the first image, I think you are having the same problem I had a few months ago with similar extension models.  I also used a direct solver (MUMPS).    There are a number of emails discussing the problems I had in the February or March 2010 cig-long email records.  Long story short, I think you may need to put a weak low-density layer on top of the crust, which is how I was able to achieve long-term extension with no solver errors.
