It is in the public repository.  There are instructions on how to
download it in the section "Development Version" at the bottom of

  http://geodynamics.org/cig/software/packages/long/gale/

The subduction example will not work with 1.4.1.  You have to download
and build the version from the repository for now.

If you just want to look at the file, you can try
