[CIG-MC] Compiling CitcomS (SVN) with pyre support, python bombs

Hi Thorsten,

It's very likely that your installation of python is not complete.
Can you try this from the command line?

/usr/usc/python/2.6.1/bin/python -c "import socket"


If this still gives you "ImportError", you will need to reinstall python.


PS: RHEL5 has python 2.4 as system default. You can try using the system 
python by ./configure PYTHON=/usr/bin/python
