I think this means that you do not have hdf5 enabled.  If you do not
need tracers or hdf5 output, then the code should work fine now.

HDF5 should be detected automatically by the configure script, so you
probably do not have it installed.  You should use the Cygwin
setup.exe to install it.  Then you should have the file

 /usr/lib/libhdf5.a
