[CIG-MC] How to setup subduction modeling in CitcomS

Hey all CitcomS users and developers,
I find CitcomS perfectly meets my needs of mantle-scaled geodynamic modeling due to its maturity. But can anyone tell me more about how can I setup a model (2D or 3D) with a complex structure of material parameter such as viscosity and density? A basic problem.
All I can find about this problem are some very limited informations involving a four-layerd structure that can be configured in CitcomS according to the manual (v3.3.0), which divides the lithosphere and upper mantle into layers vertically.
But it is not enough if one need to deal with more complex issues like in case of subduction zone. To be specific, I draw a sketch about a typical case of subduction zone here (see the attachment). So can this to be done in CitcomS (e.g., for version 3.3.0)?
Any hints about which files in the source code should to be motifed to achive this? Thanks in advance!

Best,
Qingwen
