The Institute of Geosciences, Section Geophysics, Goethe-University 
Frankfurt am Main, invites applications for a

Postdoctoral researcher in numerical geodynamics´(E13 TV-G-U)

The appointment is limited up to three years. Starting date should be 
01.09.2018.
The employee is expected to participate in research projects in the 
field of numerical geodynamics and to participate in the scientific 
organization, preparation and execution of research and teaching. There 
is opportunity for self-determined research.
The position requires a Ph.D. in geoscience, physics or engineering; 
expertise in numerical modeling of geodynamic processes and in 
developing of numerical codes for geodynamical problems is desired. 
Participation in teaching and in scientific administration is expected.
