[CIG-MC] AGU's new data policy

Just to explain/clarify.  What you and Thorsten describe is no longer acceptable, at least with JGR Planets, as of January 2018.  The editor is insisting on the specific data used to generate the figures (at a minimum) in addition to referencing an open source code and putting the input files in a repository.  This might be something that is being enforced/interpreted on an editor by editor basis.  It seems (not unlike other instances with AGU) that they have come up with a policy, have lots of instructions with MUST, but don’t really have a clear plan or even understand whether the resources are available to do what one MUST do.
