[CIG-SEISMO] SPECFEM3D GLOBE Web Portal Offers On-Demand Simulations

The SPECFEM3D GLOBE Web Portal is now available. The portal provides 
on-demand simulations of seismic wave propagation, automatically running 
your simulations on a remote TeraGrid supercomputer. Simply download the 
synthetic seismograms when it's done!

Access the SPECFEM3D GLOBE Web Portal either directly at

https://crust.geodynamics.org/specfem3dglobe/

or via the CIG website's new "Portals" tab

http://www.geodynamics.org/cig/portals/

(When prompted to accept the site's security certificate, click "Accept 
this certificate permanently" or "Accept this certificate temporarily 
for this session.")

First-time users should click the "register" link and then fill-out the 
registration form to create a new account.  On the registration page, 
please enter the following invitation code:

cig-seismo-2007

This code identifies you as a cig-seismo subscriber, enabling you to 
start running simulations immediately.
