[CIG-SEISMO] SPECFEM3D

Hello,



I have a several questions about SPECFEM3D:

I try to use specfem in local problems, more precisely, I compute models in
scale of seismic.

So, I have next questions:



1) How I can choose source time function, I want to use  “ricker”, for
example?

2) What about coordinates of receivers and source, if I use CUBIT for
meshing with next parameters:



cubit.cmd('brick x 2000 y 2000 z 2215')

cubit.cmd('volume 1 move x 10000 y 10000 z -1107,5')

cubit.cmd('brick x 2000 y 2000 z 4600')

cubit.cmd('volume 2 move x 1000 y 1000 z -2445')

cubit.cmd('brick x 2000 y 2000 z 5000')

cubit.cmd('volume 3 move x 1000 y 1000 z -2925')



SPECFEM3D use UTM zones, but in my case it doesn’t matter in which it
should to be located.



I made next CMTSOLUTION file

In result of computation was of the fact that coordinates of source change
to (300;300;200)



So I made next STATIONS file

But after computation I had next error, that no receivers didn’t  get into
the model
