Hello, I am a Master's student at University of Munich, I am working with
SPECFEM3D in order to model my Green's function and synthetics, from the
Green's function and synthetics I have modeled, I would like to get the
source time function by doing a deconvolution. I have the question here,
what exactly the source time function in SPECFEM3D in the elastic case when
the USE_FORCE_POINT_SOURCE in the constants.h is set to false and the
half_time_duration of the source in the Par_file is set to non-zero? I was
looking at the plot_source_time_function.txt file but it is neither a
Gaussian nor a Ricker but what I am getting after the deconvolution is a
Ricker wavelet, I have to compare my result to the initial source time
function used in the simulation which is unknown to me, so my work is stuck
at this point, I would be really grateful if anyone can point out the
solution for this problem, thank you so much.

Sincerely,
Fatimah
