[CIG-SEISMO] SPECFEM3D: GPU mode

Hi

 I'm currently running SPECFEM3D Cartesian on a CPU cluster, however I
could potentially access some GPU's for my work. I was curious as to how
the GPU mode works. How does the mesh generation and decomposition work,
similarly where/how does one specify the number of GPUs to be used. I
would also need to know how to determine an equivalent number of GPU's to
ensure similar run times. Is GPU mode a simple and manageable extension
or is it somewhat more involved in its current form?
