[CIG-SEISMO] Movie Creation Error

Hi John,
I usually get this error when create_movie_shakemap_AVS_DX_GMT was compiled with the wrong surface_from_mesher.h. Check that the number of elements at the surface in this file is the correct one.
It is possible that newer versions of the code mentioned by Carl, do not need this file.
Good luck!

Hi John,
I just made a movie with the latest version of the devel code for
SPECFEM3D (movie here: http://youtu.be/Tx-u_HULFnY), so things appear
to be working. I always use the AVS UCD format, though, so I can speak
for the format you are trying (opendx).
One thing I noticed from your output was the line
../in_out_files/OUTPUT_FILES/moviedata******
which is suggestive of an older version of the code, since the path
should point to OUTPUT_FILES/moviedata*** (no in_out_files). I also
think the that execution command is like
./bin/xcreate_movie_shakemap_AVS_DX_GMT
It could be that the relative path to your movie files is incorrect.
But if this fails, then I would try AVS UCD format, which I have been
using for several years, and it seems to work well. And if that fails
for you, then I would try the latest devel version of the code.
Good luck.
Carl

Dear CIG community,
I simulated my model. I want to create a movie which is giving me the error
message (below). I tried in many different ways, but non of them work. Could
somebody kindly tell me where I am doing wrong? I would be really grateful,
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
John
