Dear SPECFEM community,
I am happy to announce the latest release of ASKI, supporting
SPECFEM3D_Cartesian_3.0 and SPECFEM3D_GLOBE_7.0.0 .
http://www.rub.de/aski
ASKI is a software package for full waveform inversion based on full
waveform kernels (i.e. Fréchet derivatives of waveform data samples ->
Gauss-Newton convergence).
ASKI utilizes external forward codes (such as SPECFEM3D_Cartesian/GLOBE,
Gemini II, NEXD) and follows a very modular and flexible approach,
compared with monolithic inversion codes that are closely interwoven
with a particular forward method/code.
ASKI is freely available (GPL), as well as all its extensions,
documentation and examples at http://www.rub.de/aski
Regards,
Florian
