[CIG-SEISMO] modeling multiple isotropic sources with SPECFEM2D

Hi SPECFEM2D developers,

Is it possible to run elastic simulations with multiple isotropic sources nucleating simultaneously? The attached Par_file documents my failed attempt to run such a model. My concern is that the isotropic sources (Mxx=1, Mzz=1, Mxz=0) have P-wavefronts with nodes, and they also are radiating some S-wave energy (model snapshot attached). These problems do go away when I run the simulation for only one of the sources.

Do you know if this is a problem with my implementation, or rather a bug within the guts of the source code?

Best,

Nick
