Surendra,

Write access to the pylith git repository will be primary developers
only. Because git is a distributed revision control system, users that
clone the repository can commit changes to their local repository while
continuting to keep their local repository up-todate by merging in
changes from the github repository. Git supports pull-requests to allow
users to send accumulated changes to the primary developers for review
and potential inclusion in the main repository. We are following the
PETSc model for repository workflow, and you can find additional
information about this workflow at
https://bitbucket.org/petsc/petsc/wiki/Home

They remain under the CIG/geodynamics unbrella at https://github.com/geodynamics/. The top-level hierarchy is gone so that each code sits in the top-level directory and the URL for PyLith is simply https://github.com/geodynamics/pylith. The main PyLith page remains on the geodynamics.org webpage at its same URL.
