Birendra,

Is there a reason you are using gcc 4.8.1? I think I encountered this 
same error when I tried to build HDF5 with gcc 4.8.1, so I reverted back 
to gcc 4.7. We have successfully tested PyLith installer builds with gcc 
up through gcc 4.7.3.
