[CIG-SHORT] Pylith running problem on Windows

Dear Ke,

I just installed the Linux binary on my Linux machine (using the x86_64 version), and examples/3d/hex8/step01.cfg ran fine.  Are you on a regular Linux machine, or a virtual machine?  If you’re on a virtual machine, are you running the example in the Linux or Windows directory?  Due to differences in newlines on the two platforms this could cause some problems.
