Dear CIG Community,

Every year a few members of CIG’s elected governing committees (the Executive Committee and the Science Steering Committee) cycle off and are replaced by newly-elected members. To fill these open positions, the Nominations Committee solicits suggestions from the CIG community for candidates to run for election. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for consideration, please send an email to the Nominations Committee (nominations at geodynamics.org<mailto:nominations at geodynamics.org>) by Friday, September 21st. In thinking about your nominations, please keep in mind that we are committed to developing a diverse slate of election candidates including representation from different research areas, geographic locations and underrepresented groups.

Further information on the roles of these committees can be found at https://geodynamics.org/cig/about/governance/

Thank you in advance for your nominations.

Sincerely
Sabine
