[CIG-LONG] CIG-LONG Digest, Vol 22, Issue 6

Hello,

As for the visualization of seismic tomography: I have a bunch of
rudimentary bash scripts that can convert sets of global, or regional
Cartesian, grids into (legacy) VTK files. Those can then be visualized
with, e.g., the free Paraview software. The input has to be given as
Netcdf/GMT grd files on all depth layers.

Those scripts are at

http://geodynamics.usc.edu/~becker/software/grd2vtk.tgz

and some "documentation" is at

http://geodynamics.usc.edu/~becker/software/grd2vtk_README

Those scripts should be workable, but likely not out of the box, and
may need some fiddling.

Cheers

Thorsten

Since your group have vast experience in this, which package of your website would be the most suitable/ do you recommend to download?
