That is now done. If you update from the mercurial repository, you
can add a list to the file
<list name="VTKOutput_SwarmList">
<param>picIntegrationPoints</param>
<param>passiveTracerSwarm</param>
</list>
and it will output both the regular material points and the tracers in
their own files. I am attaching the latest version of galtest1.xml as
a full example.
To make a single paraview control file, compile and run
tools/generate_pvd.cxx. To convert the particle files to csv, you can
use tools/vtk2csv.py (that requires paraview's python 'pvpython').
