[CIG-LONG] new install

Thanks. I notice in your original config.log file, towards the bottom it
has lots of "Looked in [/some/path]" statements from when it was looking
for Petsc.
What do they say now you use the --petsc-dir flags?

You should be able to get a nice output in the terminal by going to when
the config.log file is and typing:
grep "Looked" config.log
or simply attach the config.log file to your email.

If it says something like
  "Looked in [/home/matty/Programs/Petsc/petsc-3.2-p7/arch-linux2-c-debug]"

but never says:
  "Looked in [/home/matty/Programs/Petsc/petsc-3.2-p7/
arch-linux2-c-debug/lib]"
try using the following flags:
  ./configure.sh --petsc-dir=/home/matty/Programs/Petsc/petsc-3.2-p7
--petsc-arch=arch-linux2-c-debug/lib
