Greetings,
I am pleased to announce the release of Flexwin 1.0. Flexwin is a
software package that automates the time-window selection problem for
seismologists. It operates on pairs of observed and synthetic single
component seismograms, defining windows that cover as much of a given
seismogram as possible, while avoiding portions of the waveform that
are dominated by noise.
You can download the source code from

Installation instructions are in the provided user manual at

If you encounter any problems or issues, please report them using our
Bug Tracker at

If you have questions or wish to provide feedback or suggestions on
Flexwin, please e-mail the CIG Computational Seismology mailing list
at cig-seismo at geodynamics.org.
Sincerely yours,
Alessia Maggi
