Dear Pieyre,
In order to build model with two doubling layers like figure 4 in
paper "Simulations of Ground Motion in the Los Angeles Basin Based
upon the Spectral-Element Method", I have set NDOUBLINGS = 2 in
meshfem3D/DATA/Par_file. Meanwhile, I have set NZ_DOUGLING_1 = 11 and
NZ_DOUGLING_2 = 13. The number of spectral elements in the vertical
direction was 15 (layer number 1 = 11 and layer number 2 =4). But the
executing of xmeshfem3D stoped and resulted in error message such as
"ispec greater than NSPEC in mesh creation". The NMATERIALS and
NREGIONS were set to 2.
How can I build my model with two doubling layers? Thank you!
Best regards,
Hu Yuan-xin
