[CIG-SEISMO] Specfem3d for volcano simulation?

Hello,

I consider using Specfem3d to run some simulations of wave propagation 
in a volcanic environment. I would like to know if it is possible to run 
such an experiment on a normal desktop PC and if there is a chance to do 
the meshing with a free tool like Gmsh.
