[CIG-SHORT] pylith install

Pylith developers,

I am trying to build pylith and ran into a problem when running  
configure. It complains that I don't have the correct version of  
PETSc. The config.log file is attached.

Also, I attempted to use the source code from the svn repository and  
got this error:
 > autoreconf -if
aclocal: unrecognized option -- `-I./m4'
Try `aclocal --help' for more information.
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1

I am using autoconf  2.59, automake 1.9.2, and libtool 1.5.8
