[CIG-SHORT] Xdmf/HDF5 files and tensor output (stress/strain) with PyLith v1.6

Hi all:

It looks like Xdmf treats a tensor differently than VTK, so that it is
expecting all 9 components rather than just 6 like VTK (which accounts
for symmetry). This discrepancy means that the examining stress/strain
components in ParaView using Xdmf files is probably broken. We will
investigate if Xdmf can use 6 tensor components or whether we would have
to write out each on individually (which might be undesirable if one is
using the HDF5 file directly from Matlab or Python).
