[CIG-SHORT] run pylith with error after make check in the pylith build direcotry without errors

Notice the error message

[0]PETSC ERROR: Unable to open file!
[0]PETSC ERROR: Cannot open PetscViewer file: 
output/step01-upper_crust_info.vtk!

Did you create the "output" directory?
