[CIG-SHORT] pylith-2.0 and 2.1 installer

Hi

I am using the pylith-installer-2.0.0-0.tgz[2014-06-05]. The pylith-2.0.0/libsrc/pylith/Makefile.am file has zero bytes. Is that correct? Can I replace this with pylith-1.8.0's Makefile.am?

Also, how do I install pylith-2.0.1? 
pylith-2.0.1.tgz is not an installer. Should I just replace the contents of pylith-2.0.0 with the contents of unzipped pylith-2.0.1.tgz?
What is petsc-pylith-2.0.1.tgz? How/when do I use it?
