[CIG-SHORT] number of points in output file

Hi,
I have this problem ,I have two model, all in 2D, it is a 25 km long fault ,first mode,I discrete it with 12.5 m mesh ,second model,I discrete it with 50m mesh, however the output file that show the .fault which show the slip, slip rate , traction, using Paraview, I turn on the makers on the plot along a line, and find out the two case have the same number of  output points, in other words ,they have the same number of makers, shouldn't the 12.5m mesh case have twice the number of points for the 25m case ?
