[CIG-SHORT] Smoothing Issues

Hi Nick,

I know that there are ways to locally refine a mesh using LaGriT, but I’m not sure how to do it. As Brad mentions, it might be worthwhile seeing how much an academic license for Trelis would be. You could probably get a single node-locked license for not very much. It’s worth looking on the csimsoft website to see.

Cheers,
Charles

p.s. If you happen to find another cheap or free mesher that can produce output in Exodus II format, that would also work.
