[CIG-SHORT] Pylith stress output

Hi Charles,
I just used the HDF5 writer for the stress output. Now I am using Matlab to post process stress in h5 file. And I find that the size of the stress is (3,1600,205), in which 3 are stress components, 1600 are number of elements, 205 is the total time steps.
I try to plot stress in 2d domain, however, I do not know the element order. So I can not determine the position of element.
Here I attach the file in case you will run Pylith and use the script Plot.m to open material.h5 file to see the stress.

Dear Teng,
The components correspond to xx, yy, and xy — see Table 5.2 in the manual. Also, it is probably more reasonable to use HDF5 output rather than VTK output.

In a 2d plane strain problem, I tried to output stress in VTK video form. And I find there are three components in the Paraview which are x, y, z. So what is the meaning of these three components? Three normal stress in x, y, z directions? However I think we should also have shear stress in the plane. So how to output all the stress components?
